When your friends are this talented!
I was one of the first to back my dear friend’s Kickstarter campaign to launch her latest project – the Write Your Own Adventure 2017 Planner. Emma doesn’t hold back and she has surpassed all expectations with this stunning journal. The packaging, the messages, the quality – she’s put a piece of her heart in everything.
It’s making me excited to start 2017.
And my friend Jen has taken her passion for ceramics and is turning it into a cult business called the Decadent Pantry. She creates pieces with an amazing tactile quality that is completely unique. Her eye as a photographer and stylist makes this a most aesthetically pleasing collection too.
Both women have followed their passions and created their own path. I’m so inspired by the people that surround me and I’m hoping their bravery brushes off on me so I can keep forging a new path in 2017.
I love my business but I want to push myself creatively. I want to pursue my photography and push myself to learn and grow as an artist.
It’s awkward to write that, and I wish I could write more but I’m getting closer to owning that I am already an artist.
